Chilla is a staple breakfast option in most Indian households. And if you want to make your breakfast gluten-free, try making the chilla with jowar, or sorghum. Just follow these 4 simple steps.
1 cup jowar flour 1/2 cup curd 1/4 cup water 1/2 onion 1 green chilli A pinch of hing A pinch of red chilli powder A pinch of turmeric powder Salt to taste Oil for cooking
Mix jowar flour, curd, and water to make a smooth batter.
Stir in chopped onions, green chilli, hing, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and salt.
Pour a ladleful of batter on a tawa and cook on both sides.
Once golden brown, serve with a pickle or chutney.
