Yes, tofu is healthy if it is prepared using organic ingredients and without preservatives. It is a good source of protein for vegans and vegetarians. Here is how you can make it using chickpeas.
1 tsp cumin 200g chickpeas 1 tsp turmeric 400 ml water ¼ tsp salt 1 tsp garlic powder ¼ tsp pepper
Soak chickpeas for at least 12-16 hours. Blend them with water and other ingredients.
Strain this smooth mixture through a muslin cloth.
Heat the strained concoction on medium heat until you have a thick paste.
Transfer it to a thick glass container and refrigerate for 8 hours.
Cut the tofu into the desired shape and enjoy it in curries, salads, and wraps.
