Observed on the 1st of October, International Coffee Day is an ode to your cup of joe. To celebrate, you can make an iced latte at home. Replicate how every cafe nails the iced beverage with this guide.
While espresso is the ideal choice, if you don’t have a coffee machine, you can use strong cold brew concentrate.
Don’t pour hot espresso straight over the ice. Let it cool for a few minutes, then add ice or milk.
Whole milk is the classic choice, but it can be a little heavy. So, try adding oat milk froth or coconut milk and switch as per your mood.
Granulated sugar won’t dissolve in cold milk. So, make simple syrup to get an evenly sweetened iced latte.
Mix simple syrup with milk, then pour espresso on top for a layered look like your favourite coffee shop.
