Paniyaram or appam is a South Indian breakfast dish that looks appealing and tastes delicious. While you can use leftover idli-dosa batter to prepare it, you can prepare it instantly with rava. Note the recipe.
2 cups rava 1 cup curd 1 cup boiled corn Water as needed 1 tsp fruit salt Ghee as needed 1 tsp red chilli powder Salt to taste
Soak rava in curd and water for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, boil the corn with some salt.
Combine spices and corn with rava.
Grease paniyaram pan and pour batter into moulds.
When one side is cooked, flip paniyarams.
Serve the paniyarams with sauce or chutney.
