Made with suji or semolina, rava dhokla is an easy-to-make Gujarati snack. Whether you’re on a strict diet or looking for a healthy snack, make steamed dhokla, pair it with a chutney and enjoy guilt-free.
1 cup rava 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon hing Salt to taste 1/4 cup curd 1 tablespoon oil Water as needed For tempering: 1 tablespoon oil 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds 1 green chilli A few curry leaves
Mix rava, curd, water, turmeric, red chilli powder, hing, and salt. Let the batter rest.
Transfer the batter into a microwave-safe bowl or steamer.
Steam for about 10-15 minutes till the dhokla is fluffy. Let it come to room temperature.
Heat some oil and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, and green chilli for tempering.
Pour the tempering over the dhokla, garnish it with curry leaves, and serve.
