Rava chilla is a popular breakfast option for busy mornings. Prepared by mixing semolina or sooji, curd and some veggies, it is light, nourishing, and can be prepared in minutes.
1 cup rava ½ cup curd 1 small finely chopped onion ½ chopped tomato 1 chopped green chilli Salt to taste Water as needed Oil for cooking
In a bowl, mix rava, curd, a pinch of salt and water to make a smooth consistency batter.
Keep the batter for about 10–15 minutes to let the rava thicken slightly.
In the batter, add some chopped onion, tomato, green chilli, and coriander and mix well.
Heat a non-stick pan and grease it with a little oil. Once the tawa sizzles, pour a ladleful of batter and spread gently in a circle.
Cook on medium flame until it turns golden brown on both sides.
Serve the rava chilla with mint chutney or tomato ketchup.
