Are you craving dosa but don’t have time to let the batter ferment? Why don’t you skip the rice and urad dal batter and make oats dosa? Follow this oats dosa recipe and make a South Indian meal in no time.
1 cup quick oats ½ cup rice flour ¼ cup curd 1½ cups water 1 onion 1 green chilli Salt to taste A pinch of cumin seeds Oil for cooking
Grind the oats into a powder and mix with rice flour, curd, and water to get a smooth batter.
Chop the onion and chillies, and add to the batter. Mix in salt and cumin seeds.
Heat a dosa tawa, grease it, and pour the batter onto the tawa. Spread it into a circle.
Drizzle some oil and cook the dosa till crispy.
Serve hot with sambar and your favourite chutneys.
