This drink is the ultimate summer power-up, combining the earthy, grassy notes of ceremonial matcha with the natural sweetness of ripe mango. The key to the perfect layered aesthetic is to use a thick mango puree at the bottom, which creates a stunning colour gradient when the green tea and milk are added. It is naturally energising without the heavy jittery feeling of high-caffeine drinks.
1/2 cup fresh mango puree  1 tsp matcha powder whisked with 2 tbsp warm water  1 cup chilled oat or dairy milk  1 cup ice cubes
Pour the mango puree into the bottom of a tall glass and top it with ice cubes to fill the glass halfway.
Slowly pour the chilled milk over the ice, ensuring it settles on top of the mango layer.
Gently pour the prepared matcha liquid over the milk, using the back of a spoon to create a smooth, distinct layer.
Stir gently before sipping to enjoy the perfect balance of creamy mango and vibrant matcha flavours.
