One of the most ordered delicacies across north Indian restaurants, did you know cooking tandoori paneer at home, too, isn’t a tough task? Yes, you read that right. Here is the perfect recipe that you can prepare in a microwave in no time.
500g fresh paneer or cottage cheese, cut into pieces and pierced 1 tsp garlic paste 1 tsp ginger paste ½ cup curd 1 tsp garam masala ½ tbsp salt ¼ tsp black pepper powder 1 ½ tsp coriander powder Cream Oil, to brush the paneer
Marinate the paneer in a mix of garlic, ginger, yoghurt, salt, garam masala, black pepper, coriander powder and cream for about 2-3 hours.
Arrange the paneer over a sauce and place it in a dish.
Cover and cook in a microwave at high for 5 minutes.
Turn it to the other side and let it cook for a few minutes.
Then, cover and cook on high for another 3 minutes.
Uncover and cook for 2 minutes more.
Remove from microwave. Let it cool for 5 minutes. Serve with onion rings and lemon wedges on the side.
