Learn how to prepare potato curry, a comforting dish enjoyed in various cuisines and made by simmering potatoes. The dish can be adjusted to suit your taste preference, commonly paired with rice and roti.
3 potatoes, peeled and diced 2 tbsp oil 1 tsp mustard seeds 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 finely chopped onion 2 slit green chillies 2 chopped tomatoes 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp red chilli powder 1 tsp coriander powder 1/2 tsp garam masala Salt to taste 1 cup water 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
Heat oil, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Sauté onions and chillies until golden, and then add ginger garlic paste.
Mix in tomatoes, spices, and cook until soft.
Add potatoes, coat well and pour water.
Simmer until the potatoes turn tender, then garnish with coriander and serve!
