White chocolate truffles are all about a creamy, chocolatey delight that features a ganache center encased in a solid chocolate shell. Made with the goodness of white chocolate, butter, and heavy cream, these chocolate truffles have a velvety, melt-in-the-mouth texture. Here’s the recipe to follow.
1 cup premium-quality white chocolate (for ganache) 1.5 cups white chocolate (for coating) ½ cup heavy cream 2 tablespoons unsalted butter 1 teaspoon vanilla extract A pinch of salt
Chop the white chocolate and place it in a heatproof bowl.
In a saucepan, heat the cream, butter, and salt over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
Next, pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate and stir gently until smooth and combined.
Cover the white chocolate and cream ganache and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours, or until very firm.
Scoop the chilled ganache into balls and roll them quickly. Freeze them for 15 to 20 minutes.
Melt the coating chocolate and dip each ball into the chocolate using a fork. Chill them in the refrigerator.
Serve them once the coating is solid.
