Check out this tulsi herbal tea recipe, one of the easiest nuskhas to help avoid catching viral throat infections and cure a common cold, cough/flu.
1-2 slices of ginger 9-10 tulsi leaves A pinch of turmeric 1 tbsp of black tea leaves 1 glass of water
In a pan, boil a glass of water for 5-6 minutes, with some crushed tulsi leaves and ginger.
Add the black tea leaves along with turmeric and bring to a slight boil.
Strain and pour into a teacup. Let it steep for a while. Sip the herbal tea.
Tulsi leaves are rich in vitamin A and C, calcium, zinc and iron, which help in relieving symptoms of asthma, bronchitis, congestion, sore throat and similar ailments.
Ginger and turmeric possess potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, which not only fight viral and bacterial infections but also boost the immune system.
