Made with coffee-soaked ladyfingers, layered with mascarpone cheese, and dusted with cocoa powder, tiramisu is on the rage and for all the right reasons. To make the Italian dessert, follow these 5 steps.
24 ladyfingers 1 cup brewed coffee 450 grams mascarpone cheese 1/2 cup granulated sugar 3 egg yolks 1 cup heavy cream 1 tsp vanilla extract Cocoa powder for dusting
Beat egg yolks and fold in the granulated sugar.
Whisk in mascarpone cheese, whipped cream, brewed coffee, and vanilla extract.
Soak the ladyfingers in the coffee mixture.
Layer them at the bottom and top them with the filling. Repeat the layers.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Dust with cocoa powder and whole coffee beans before serving.
