A divine, gluten-free halwa that bursts with the nutty aroma of singhara flour, ghee’s richness, and cardamom’s warmth. It’s wholesome, quick, and perfect for fasting days or as a comforting sweet treat.
1 cup singhara atta (water chestnut flour) ½ cup ghee ¾ cup sugar 2 cups water ¼ tsp cardamom powder 2 tbsp chopped almonds and cashews
Heat ghee in a pan and add singhara atta.
Roast on low flame until golden and aromatic.
In another pan, dissolve sugar in water and bring to a boil.
Pour syrup into roasted flour slowly, stirring to avoid lumps.
Cook till thick, add cardamom, garnish with nuts, and serve warm.
