Paneer is a versatile ingredient in every household. From sandwiches to snacks, it has your back. But this time, try using paneer in a quick paneer lemon bowl recipe that’s comforting and zesty yet has a perfect spice balance.
2 cups cooked rice 200g paneer 1 tsp oil 1 tsp mustard seeds 1 tsp cumin seeds 8-10 curry leaves 2 green chillies, chopped 1 small onion, finely sliced ¼ tsp turmeric powder 2 tbsp lemon juice 1 tbsp roasted peanuts 1 tbsp coriander leaves Salt to taste
Marinate the paneer cubes with turmeric, red chilli powder, salt, and lemon juice for 10 minutes.
Heat a pan and lightly sauté the paneer until golden on all sides. Set aside.
In the same pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Let them crackle.
Add curry leaves, green chillies, and onion. Sauté until the onion turns translucent. Add turmeric powder and mix well.
Stir in the cooked rice and salt. Toss gently until combined. Add lemon juice and stir until the rice is uniformly covered.
Fold in the sautéed paneer cubes. Garnish with toasted peanuts and coriander leaves.
Serve warm in a bowl for a refreshing and filling lunch or dinner.
