The best thing you can do on a chilly, rainy day is make yourself an authentic cup of chaha. Known for being cosy, the South Indian masala tea can be quickly prepared and paired with munchies.
1.5 cups water 1 inch cinnamon stick 3 green cardamoms 4 cloves 5 black peppercorns ½ inch fresh ginger, grated 1 teaspoon black tea ¾ cup milk Sugar to taste
Dry roast cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, and peppercorns till aromatic.
Add water and grated ginger to the same pan. Let it boil.
Add black tea and simmer for another 5 minutes.
Pour in the milk and sugar and let it simmer for a few more minutes.
Strain the tea into cups and enjoy!
