Bone broth is an incredibly nutritious and health-boosting food that is very easy to make. It is very rich in minerals that help support the immune system, and it contains healing compounds such as collagen, glutamine, glycine and proline

Ingredients

4-5 kg of chicken bones, lamb bones 2 carrots 2 sticks of celery 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar A few rosemary stems Thyme, as needed Origano, as needed 4-5 black pepper corns

Step 1

Fill up your slow cooker crockpot with water. Add the bones to it. Put over high flames.

Step 2

Add the rest of the chopped vegetables and ingredients. Cover the pot. Leave just a smidge open for the steam to get through.

Step 3

Simmer it for 8-12 hours.

Step 4

Turn off the heat. Remove the pot. Spoon off any fat that is easily removed from your soup after straining it through a sieve.

Step 5

Allow your broth to cool, cover it, and store it in the refrigerator overnight for the residual fat to solidify.

Step 6

Remove it and portion out your broth to be consumed within 5 days if stored in the refrigerator, or freeze it for up to 3 months
