How To Make Restaurant-Style Crispy Corn In Minutes

Crispy corn is a spicy snack made from fried sweet corn kernels. This is served in restaurants and bars as a perfect snack to all your beverages. Crisp corn is an American-style recipe that is very popular around the globe and loved by everyone.

Ingredients

2 cups American corn kernels 1 tbsp cornstarch 1 tbsp all-purpose flour ½ tsp salt 1 tsp pizza seasoning ¼ cup onions, chopped 2-4 garlic cloves, chopped 1 capsicum, chopped 2-3 green chillies, chopped

Step 1

Boil the corn kernels first. It is best to use a pressure cooker and set it for 2 whistles.

Step 2

Transfer it to a bowl. Let it cool down. Add the cornstarch, all-purpose flour and pizza seasoning.

Step 3

Give it a toss. Sprinkle some water, if needed. Add salt to taste. Put it in the refrigerator for 30 mins.

Step 4

Heat oil in a pan. Deep-fry the corn kernels. Heat more oil in another pan.

Step 5

Add chopped garlic, onions, capsicum and green chillies. Fry for 2-4 mins.

Step 6

Add fried corn and sauté for a few more minutes. Serve hot with lemon wedges!
