How To Make Refreshing Pudina Pachadi At Home

Pudina Pachadi, also called Mint Chutney, is a flavourful and healthy South Indian condiment made from fresh mint leaves, tamarind, and spices. It's an adventure for your taste buds, turning every dish into a flavour-packed delight.

Ingredients

1 cup fresh mint leaves 2-3 green chillies 1 tbsp tamarind 1-2 garlic cloves 1 tbsp oil 1 tsp mustard seeds A pinch of asafoetida (hing) A few curry leaves Salt to taste

Step 1

Saute mint leaves and green chillies in 1 tablespoon oil until the mint wilts slightly, and set them aside to cool.

Step 2

After it is cooled, blend it with tamarind, garlic cloves, and salt to a smooth consistency.

Step 3

Heat the remaining oil in the pan, splutter mustard seeds, add asafoetida and a few curry leaves.

Step 4

Pour the tempering over the chutney and mix it well.

Step 5

Serve the Pudina Pachadi as a dip or a spread!
