When the heat starts to rise, a super refreshing tall glass of pineapple iced tea suddenly becomes the answer to it all. Sweet, tangy, and brewed just lightly enough, this drink is perfect for slow afternoons or evenings. Here is how to brew this delicious tea.
Black tea leaves- 2 tsp Water- 2 cups Pineapple- 2- 3 chunks Sugar or honey- 2-3 tbsp Lemon juice- 1tbsp Ice cubes Fresh mint leaves
Boil some water in a pan, then add the tea leaves.
Let it all simmer for 2-3 minutes before straining and letting it cool completely.
In another pan, add the pineapple chunks with half a cup of water. Cook them till they are soft, then mash them up a bit to get the juice out.
Strain it to get a smooth syrup out of it.
Add a bit of sugar or honey to the syrup and mix it in.
Now take the cooled tea with the pineapple syrup, then add lemon juice, and give it a little stir.
Fill up some glasses with ice cubes, then pour the tea over them.
Sprinkle some fresh mint leaves on top and enjoy.
