Laddus are one of the most loved sweets in India, and they have a variety of ingredients with which they're made. If you’re looking for a healthy version, rava laddus are a great way to do that. This recipe is easy yet tastes just as yummy!
¼ cup ghee 1½ cups rava ½ cup coconut, grated 1½ cups sugar ½ cup water ¼ tsp cardamom powder 1 tsp ghee 2 tbsp cashew 2 tbsp raisins
In a pan, heat ¼ cup ghee and add 1½ cups rava. Roast on low flame until the rava turns aromatic.
Now add coconut and roast for 2 minutes, and keep aside. In a large kadhai, take 1½ cups sugar and ½ cup water.
Stir and boil the sugar until the sugar syrup reaches a 1-string consistency. Turn off the flame and add roasted rava.
In a pan, heat ghee and roast the cashews and raisins until golden. Add to the mixture along with cardamom powder.
Mix well until the mixture turns moist, absorbing the sugar syrup.
Cool partly and start rolling them into laddus. Let them set. Enjoy rava laddus!
