Who doesn’t like to indulge in soft and mouth-melting cake? But due to gluten allergies or dietary restrictions, you might want millet-forward options. Here’s a ragi cake recipe you can enjoy.
1 cup ragi flour 1/2 cup sugar or jaggery 1/4 cup coconut oil 1/4 cup milk 1 egg 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder Pinch of salt 1/4 cup chopped nuts
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Mix the dry ingredients: ragi flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, cardamom powder, and salt.
Add melted coconut oil, milk, and egg to the dry ingredients. Mix till you get a smooth batter.
Fold in chopped nuts. Pour the batter into a pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
Let the cake cool, cut it into slices, and serve the gluten-free dessert.
