Toasting a slice of bread and spreading some peanut butter is one of the easiest ways to make a healthy breakfast or snack. But to make your peanut butter preservative-free, make it from scratch at home.
2 cups roasted peanuts 1-2 tablespoons oil Salt to taste 1-2 tablespoons honey
Take the roasted peanuts and grind them. Process for about 4-5 minutes till you get a sticky ball.
Once the consistency is thicker, add a tablespoon of oil and process again.
In another five minutes, you’ll get a smoother consistency.
Add salt and honey as desired and process for another 30 seconds.
Transfer the peanut butter to an air-tight container and store it in your refrigerator.
