Panjiri is one of the all-time favourite Punjabi treats that is frequently prepared in North Indian households, especially in the changing seasons. Follow this granda-approved recipe to make authentic panjiri.
1 cup wheat flour 1/2 cup ghee 1/2 cup dry fruits 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder 1/2 cup sugar
Heat some ghee and roast wheat flour till golden brown. Let it cool.
Chop the dried fruits like almonds, cashews, and raisins. Mix them in another pan.
Add the cardamom powder and stir well.
Mix in the roasted flour, sugar, and ghee until well combined.
Let the crumbly panjiri cool down before serving.
