With their crispy edges, spicy paneer inside, and fuss-free finger food ideal for sharing, nibbling, and celebrating into the new year, paneer paratha bites lend a delectable desi flavour to your NYE table. Here’s a fun way to make them!
2 cups of grated paneer or cottage cheese 2 chopped onions A handful of coriander leaves 1-3 chopped green chillies ½ teaspoon chaat masala ½ teaspoon of black pepper powder Whole wheat, as needed Water as needed Oil as needed Salt, to taste
In a mixing bowl, add the grated paneer. Add in the onions, coriander leaves, and green chillies. Mix it.
Now, add the chaat masala, pepper powder and salt. Mix it well.
In another mixing bowl, knead the whole wheat into a dough. Let it rest for a few minutes.
Make dough balls. Roll them out. Add the paneer filling in the centre.
Seal them by rolling them like Swiss rolls. Cut the rolls into smaller pieces.
Heat oil in a pan. Place the paneer paratha bites in it. Cook on both sides until golden brown.
Remove from heat. Place on a serving plate. Garnish with a brush of butter or ghee. Serve paneer paratha bites.
