With the slight nip in the air, pakoras are just perfect for the shaam ki chai. To add some protein to your platter of pakoras, don’t forget to make a batch of crunchy paneer ke pakore.
250 gms paneer, cubed 1 cup besan 1/4 cup rice flour 1 tsp red chilli powder 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) 1/2 tsp carom seeds (ajwain) 1/4 tsp garam masala powder Salt to taste Coriander leaves Water for batter consistency Oil for frying
Cut paneer into bite-sized cubes.
Make a consistent batter with besan, rice flour, spices, chopped coriander leaves, and salt.
Add water to adjust the consistency.
Heat some oil. Coat each paneer cube in the batter and deep fry.
Drain excess oil and serve with a chutney and a cup of chai.
