With labels getting tricker and clever marketing, you never know what’s inside a packaged food box. If you want to switch to healthier multigrain atta, the best way is to make it at home. Here’s how.
2 cups whole wheat grains ½ cup barley ½ cup oats ¼ cup chickpeas ¼ cup soybeans (optional) 2 tbsp flaxseeds 2 tbsp millet (bajra or jowar)
Clean all the grains and seeds by removing any impurities or dust.
Sun-dry the grains to get rid of the moisture.
Mix all the ingredients and grind in a high-power grinder.
Once you get consistent flour, store the multigrain atta in an airtight container.
