If you love having atte ka halwa, this is your sign to make your dessert a bit healthier. Made with your choice of millet flour, this gluten-free halwa is easy to make and will surely please your sweet tooth.
1 cup millet flour 1 cup milk 1/4 cup water 1/4 cup ghee 1/4 cup sugar 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder Chopped nuts for garnish
Roast any millet flour, such as foxtail or barnyard, until fragrant. Set aside.
In a separate pan, mix milk, water, ghee, and sugar. Let it simmer.
Mix in roasted millet flour and cardamom powder, then cook until the mixture thickens.
Garnish with chopped nuts and serve the millet halwa warm.
