Mashed potatoes may be a Western classic, but they fit right into Indian comfort cooking. Whether you need a quick dish to whip up or something light to have for dinner, just follow these four easy steps.
2-3 potatoes Salt to taste Black pepper to taste 1 green chilli 1/2 tsp cumin powder 1 tbsp lemon juice
Peel and boil the potatoes. Once cooled, mash them till you reach your desired consistency.
Add salt, black pepper powder, and a pinch of cumin powder to taste.
Mix in chopped green chilli and a squeeze of lemon.
Once well-combined, you can enjoy it as is or pair it with toast or even paratha.
