How To Make Masala Doodh? Spiced Milk For A Chilly Rainy Night

The rainy season can make you susceptible to allergies. As for a desi hack, drinking masala doodh before going to bed can help boost immunity, soothe your itchy throat, and give you relief from a cold.

Ingredients

1 cup milk 1/2 teaspoon cardamom 1/4 teaspoon cloves 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon turmeric 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg 1 tablespoon honey or sugar

Step 1

Heat some milk, but don’t boil it.

Step 2

Add ground cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, turmeric, and nutmeg.

Step 3

Let the milk simmer for two minutes till the spices infuse in the lukewarm milk.

Step 4

Stir in honey or sugar. Pour the masala doodh into a glass and drink it warm.
