If you have a sweet tooth, you’d know nothing beats a lava cake with a gooey chocolate centre. To make a rich lava cake with chocolate oozing out after digging in, follow this step-by-step recipe.
1/2 cup butter 2 tablespoons maida 1 cup of chocolate 2 eggs 2 egg yolks 1/4 cup powdered sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt
Melt the chocolate of your preference in a double boiler or in a microwave.
Whisk eggs, egg yolks, sugar, and salt till well combined. Fold in melted chocolate.
Preheat the oven and butter the cupcake moulds. Add the batter to the prepared moulds.
Bake for about ten minutes till the edges are set, but the centre is jiggly. Let them cool.
Once cool, invert the cupcakes onto a plate, dust them with powdered sugar, and serve.
