Lassi is the summer staple Punjabi beverage that is frequently prepared to beat the heat. Since it’s highly customisable, you can add your favourite fruits to lassi. Here’s how to make the classic meethi lassi.

Ingredients

2 cups dahi ¾ cup chilled milk 3-4 tablespoons sugar 1 teaspoon green cardamom pods Ice cubes as required Cardamom powder for garnishing

Step 1

Blend dahi, sugar, and crushed cardamom pods until you get a creamy mixture.

Step 2

Blend in chilled milk to get a smooth lassi.

Step 3

Before pouring lassi into glasses, add a few ice cubes.

Step 4

Garnish each glass with ground cardamom and serve.
