Kadha is a timeless beverage whose recipe has been passed down through generations, and it never fails to soothe an itchy throat. Made with the goodness of ginger, tulsi, black pepper, etc., follow this traditional recipe.
2 cups water 5-6 tulsi leaves 1-inch ginger 4-5 black peppercorns 1 cinnamon stick 2 cloves 1 tsp honey or jaggery (optional) ½ tsp lemon juice (optional)
Boil some water and add tulsi leaves, crushed ginger, black peppercorns, cinnamon sticks, and cloves.
Lower the heat and let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes.
Once the spices infuse into the water, strain the kadha into a cup.
Add honey or jaggery as required and sip while it’s warm.
