How To Make Instant Dosa Without Fermentation: Here’s A 5-Step Recipe

Doesn’t everyone love dosa, but shy away from making it from scratch because of the fermentation time? Well, here is an instant dosa recipe that can be whipped up in less than 30 minutes.

Ingredients

1 cup quick oats ½ cup rice flour ¼ cup curd 1½ cups water 1 onion 1 green chilli Salt to taste A pinch of cumin seeds Oil for cooking

Step 1

Grind the oats into a powder and mix with rice flour, curd, and water to get a smooth batter.

Step 2

Chop the onion and chillies, and add to the batter. Mix in salt and cumin seeds.

Step 3

Heat a dosa tawa, grease it, and pour the batter onto the tawa. Spread it into a circle.

Step 4

Drizzle some oil and cook the dosa till crispy. Serve hot with sambar and nariyal chutney.
