The Middle Eastern dip, hummus, is gaining popularity amongst fitness enthusiasts thanks to its protein content. If you’re fond of mayo-based dips, this is your sign to switch to this high-protein alternative.
400g chickpeas 2 tablespoons tahini 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1 garlic clove, minced 2 tablespoons olive oil 2-3 tablespoons water Salt to taste
Add the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, and salt to a food processor.
Blend until smooth. Add water to get the desired consistency.
Transfer the hummus to a bowl and drizzle some olive oil.
Serve the protein-rich dip with pita bread, chips, or chopped veggies.
