Homemade paneer is always a great way to get a good protein intake. At the same time, did you know you can turn it into masala paneer too? Check this recipe out!
2litre full cream milk ¼ cup lime juice 1 tsp red chilli flakes 1 tsp Italian seasoning mix 1 tsp crushed black pepper powder 2 tsp salt to taste 1 tbsp cumin seeds 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
Begin by adding full-fat milk to a pot. Place the pot over high heat and bring the milk to a boil, stirring regularly.
Once the milk has reached a rolling boil, turn the heat down to the lowest level.
Add all of the spice and salt. Stir gently until combined. Slowly add lemon juice or white vinegar to the milk.
The milk will begin to curdle, and the solids will separate from the whey. Remove the pot from the heat.
Line a colander with cheesecloth or muslin fabric. Pour cold water over the paneer to halt the cooking.
Gather the cloth's edges and twist them into a bundle, allowing excess whey to drain.
Place the cheese covered in muslin fabric on a level surface and top with something lightweight.
Allow it to settle for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Your homemade masala paneer is ready!
