Learn how to make soft and buttery kulcha that pairs well with paneer butter masala or any curry of your choice.
½ cup milk 1 ½ cups maida or all-purpose flour 1 tbsp sugar 2 tbsp oil ½ tsp baking soda Butter, as needed Salt, to taste
Mix milk, sugar, salt, baking soda, and oil in a bowl until thoroughly combined.
Knead in flour to form a soft dough. Cover and put aside for 30 minutes.
Now take a little bit of dough and roll it out. Apply some water to the top.
Then set it in a hot pan, water side down, and cook for a few seconds. Now invert the pan over the heat to cook from the top.
Transfer to a plate and spread butter all over it. Serve with your choice of curry.
