Evenings are all about experimenting with kitchen ingredients to whip up a snack, especially if you have kids at home. For a quick street-style snack, try this frankie recipe and get transported to Mumbai.

Ingredients

1 roti 1 tbsp oil 1 potato 2 tbsp red chilli powder 1 tsp turmeric powder 1 tbsp coriander powder 1 tbsp black salt 1 tbsp anardana powder 3 tbsp amchur powder 1 tbsp cumin powder 1 tbsp garam masala Salt to taste Chopped coriander leaves Readymade green chutney

Step 1

Make the frankie masala by mixing mashed potatoes and adding all the spices.

Step 2

Shape the potato mixture into patties and pan-fry till golden brown.

Step 3

Take a freshly prepared roti and spread green chutney.

Step 4

Place the aloo patty on the roti, garnish with coriander leaves, and roll tightly.

Step 5

Toast the frankie for a few seconds to make it extra crispy. Cut in half and serve.
