Dry fruit panjiri is a traditional North Indian sweet, often made in the winter season for warmth and nourishment. Replace wheat flour with semolina and try this panjiri recipe for a healthy treat.
1 cup suji 3-4 tbsp ghee ¼ cup powdered sugar or boora 2 tbsp chopped almonds 2 tbsp chopped cashews 1 tbsp chopped pistachios 1-2 tbsp raisins 1 tbsp melon seeds (optional) ½ tsp cardamom powder
Heat some ghee and roast suji till golden brown. Let it cool.
Lightly roast pistachios, almonds, cashew nuts, raisins, and seeds.
Add the cardamom powder and stir well.
Mix in roasted suji, sugar, and ghee till you get a well-combined mixture.
Let the crumbly panjiri cool down before serving.
