Ever tried making instant rava dosa at home? It’s a South Indian delicacy with a lacy texture, spiced with cumin and herbs, which perfectly goes with chutney and sambar.
1 cup rava 1/2 cup rice flour 1/4 cup maida 1/2 tsp cumin seeds 1/2 tsp crushed black pepper 1 finely chopped green chilli 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves 1 finely chopped onion Salt to taste 2 ½ cups water (to adjust consistency) Oil for cooking
Take a bowl and mix rava, rice flour, maida and then add cumin, black pepper, green chilli, onion, coriander, and salt to it.
Gradually add water to make the batter thin and watery, let it rest for 10 minutes.
Heat a pan, drizzle some oil into it and pour the batter in a circular motion.
Cook on medium flame until the outside turns crisp and golden.
Serve the Rava dosa, hot with chutney and sambar
