Guacamole is a creamy dip made from ripe avocados and a few chopped vegetables. This Indian-style version uses fresh lemon, onion, and green chilli for extra punch.
2 ripe avocados 1 small onion (chopped) 1 tomato (deseeded and chopped) 1 green chilli (finely chopped, optional) Juice of 1 lemon Salt and pepper to taste Coriander for garnish
Cut the avocados, remove the seeds, and scoop the pulp into a bowl. Mash with a fork.
Add chopped onion, tomato, and green chilli. Mix lightly to keep texture.
Add lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix again and taste for balance.
Adjust seasoning if needed. Do not overmix, so it stays creamy.
Garnish with coriander and serve fresh with chips, toast, or sandwiches.
