It is simpler to prepare aglio e olio itself than it is to pronounce its name. You can serve chicken or garlic bread with this super-easy Italian dish. The best part is how you can create a tasty dinner using just a few everyday ingredients.
200g of spaghetti 3 tablespoons of olive oil 5 big garlic pods 3 red chillies 25g of coriander leaves 15g of mint leaves 100g of Gouda cheese 3 medium-sized onions, thinly sliced 3 tablespoons of salt Water, as required Chopped parsley, for garnish
Bring water in a big pot to a boil. Use a lot of salt while seasoning. Add the spaghetti and cook for 9 minutes.
Meanwhile, slice the garlic very thin. Add the olive oil, garlic, and chopped red chillies to a big skillet.
Cook the garlic for about 3–4 minutes over medium-low heat, or until it's tender but not browned. Remove the pasta from the boiling water.
Keep ¾ cup of the pasta's boiling liquid aside. Add the boiled pasta. Add some lemon zest and cooking water.
Add in the mint leaves. Mix everything. Garnish with shredded Gouda cheese and parsley. Serve aglio e olio!
