Perfect for the changing season, a slightly runny besan ka halwa is ideal for soothing your throat. The rich dessert made with desi ghee and a generous amount of dry fruits can be whipped up in just 4 steps.

Ingredients

1 cup besan 1 cup milk 1/4 cup water 1/4 cup ghee 1/4 cup sugar 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder Chopped nuts for garnish

Step 1

Roast besan till aromatic. Set aside.

Step 2

In a separate pan, mix milk, water, ghee, and sugar. Let it simmer.

Step 3

Mix in roasted besan and cardamom powder and cook till the mixture thickens.

Step 4

Garnish with chopped nuts and serve it warm.
