Besan chilla is a quick, nutritious, and protein-rich breakfast that can be made just in minutes. Follow the steps below to make this delicious breakfast, especially for busy mornings.
1cup besan (gram flour) ½ cup chopped onions & tomatoes 1–2 green chillies (finely chopped) ¼ tsp turmeric powder ½ tsp red chilli powder ½ tsp ajwain (carom seeds) Salt to taste Water (to make batter) Oil for cooking
In a bowl, mix besan, spices, salt, and gradually add water for a smooth batter.
Stir in chopped veggies and coriander leaves.
Heat a non-stick pan, grease lightly with oil.
Pour a ladleful of batter, spread evenly in a circle.
Cook on medium flame till golden brown on both sides. Serve hot with green chutney or ketchup!
