Ingredients

300 grams of beetroot 2 tablespoons ghee 1.5 cups milk ½ cup sugar 10-12 cashews nuts ¼ teaspoon cardamom powder

Step 1

Rinse the beetroot and finely grate it.

Step 2

Heat some ghee, fry some cashew nuts, and set them aside.

Step 3

Cook the grated beetroot for about five minutes, then add milk and let it simmer.

Step 4

After the mixture thickens, add sugar and cardamom powder and let it cook till the sugar dissolves.

Step 5

Once you get a thick halwa, garnish it with roasted cashew nuts and serve.
