These luscious turkey meatballs are a great choice for any occasion. They are simple to prepare and can be cooked in the oven. They can be served as a meal with pasta and tomato sauce or as meatball sandwiches.
250g ground turkey 1 small egg 2tbsp freshly chopped parsley ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese ½ tsp salt ¼ tsp black pepper powder ½ tsp garlic powder ½ tsp onion powder ¼ tsp chilli flakes ½ tsp dried oregano 2 tbsp ketchup 2 tbsp olive oil 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
In a large mixing basin, combine the ingredients, including the ground turkey. Mix by hand until just mixed.
Shape the meat mixture into 1½-inch meatballs and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Preheat your oven to 375°F. Spray your pan with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.
Brush meatballs with some olive oil. Bake the meatballs on a rimmed baking sheet that has been oiled or lined for 15-20 minutes, or until well-cooked.
For a bit more colour on them, switch to broil for the final minute. Remove from oven and serve.
Serve the meatballs over spaghetti noodles, topped with marinara sauce or in a meatball sandwich!
