Apple cake is a melt-in-mouth dessert that you can simply slice and enjoy with your cup of tea or coffee. If you’re a home baker, here is a quick recipe you can whip up and bake a fruity dessert.
2.5 cups maida 1 cup oil 1.5 cups powdered sugar 3 cups chopped apples 1 cup apple purée 4 eggs 2 tsp baking powder ¾ tsp baking soda ½ tsp salt ½ tsp nutmeg 1 tsp vanilla extract
Whisk maida, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg. Set aside.
Mix oil, apple puree, powdered sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract till smooth.
Gently mix the dry and wet ingredients. Preheat the oven.
Fold the chopped apples into the batter. Bake for about 45 minutes.
Slice it up, pair it with a scoop of ice cream and enjoy.
