This is a simple, step-by-step tutorial on how to make almond milk at home. Almond milk really pairs well with your go-to regular milk-based drinks. Using this guide, create the perfect bottle of almond milk for baked goods, granola, coffee and more.
1 cup of raw almonds, soaked 5 cups of water 1 teaspoon of sea salt 2 whole dates 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Soak the dates and almonds separately overnight. Add them to a blender with water and salt until creamy and smooth.
Strain the mixture through a nut-milk bag or a thin dishcloth. Lay the dishcloth over a bowl. Pour it on top. Lift it from all sides and squeeze out the milk.
Discard the pulp or save it for later use. Transfer almond milk into a bottle or jar for use and add the vanilla extract.
