A boiled egg is one of the simplest and healthiest foods, made by cooking an egg in hot water. It is rich in protein, vitamins, minerals and is enjoyed worldwide for breakfast, snacks, or salads.
Eggs as required Water to boil Salt as required
Place some eggs in a saucepan and cover with water.
Add a pinch of salt to prevent them from cracking.
Bring water to a boil on medium flame.
Once boiling, simmer for 6 minutes for soft-boiled and 9-10 minutes for hard-boiled eggs.
Drain hot water, transfer eggs to cold water, peel, and enjoy.
