Hot honey is best defined as a condiment that smoothly blends sweet and spicy tastes. Made by combining honey with red chilli peppers and vinegar, it is often used as a drizzle on pizza and fried chicken. Here’s the hot honey recipe to follow.
1 cup honey 3 tsp red chilli pepper flakes 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar A pinch of salt to enhance flavor.
In a small saucepan, add honey and chilli flakes and combine them over a medium heat. Remove from heat once it simmers.
Next, add the apple cider vinegar. Allow the mixture to sit for 10-15 minutes to infuse.
Strain out the red chilli flakes for a smooth consistency and pour into a clean jar.
